Program Policies
Student Behavior Expectations
- All students are expected to meet the same “classroom” behavior standards.
- Students will take responsibility for their own learning, respond respectfully to instructors and/or parent chaperones, and behave safely in relation to themselves, others, and school property.
- In the case of behavioral issues, parents/guardians will be notified verbally or in writing. We hope such issues can be resolved with parent/guardian collaboration. If not, the parent/guardian may be required to attend class with their student or withdraw their student from the program without a refund.
- The following behaviors will result in removal from the program WITHOUT REFUND and may impact future participation in PTA-sponsored activities:
- Willful disobedience, failure to cooperate, or repeated refusal to follow reasonable, lawful directions from instructors and/or parent chaperones.
- Vandalism or destruction of school or personal property.
- Hazing, harassment, fighting, or causing substantial disruption to the class.
- Actions that endanger students, instructors, or community members.
- Behavior indicating the student’s presence poses an immediate and continuing danger to themselves, other students, school personnel, or the educational process.
