Thank you for volunteering your time as a Room Parent! Your generous donation of time, talents and efforts are appreciated by many, including the PTA, Island Park staff, parents and especially the students! In addition to coordinating class parties and events, a Room Parent is the liaison between the teacher and the parents in your class.

Interested in Becoming a Room Parent?

 

Most classrooms now have at least one Room Parent, but a few classes could still use an additional volunteer to help share responsibilities throughout the year. If you're interested in serving as a Room Parent, please email roomparentcoordinator@islandparkpta.org for more information.

Room Parent Class Fund Reimbursement Process

Receipts will be required and please consolidate your requests where possible as we have one amazing volunteer who is writing all the checks! Ideally limit to one request per party. Please turn in end of the year party and teacher gift receipts by the last day of school.  Please allow a couple of weeks to receive reimbursement checks. Room Parents can request reimbursement using the online reimbursement request form below or via Membership Toolkit app.
