Step 1
MISD RSVP via Skyward Family Access

Don’t forget to complete all the district forms, permission slips and notifications required for the start of school via Skyward Family Access. Forms should be completed prior to the first day of school. Teacher placement is available via Skyward Family Access; MISD will send a letter/email when that information is ready.

Important: you won’t be able to see your child’s teacher until you’ve completed the RSVP process.

  • Join the PTA (paid membership grants full access to the password-protected online directory)
  • Donate to the PTA Fundraising Ask Campaign (donations are tax deductible)
  • Pay for school supplies
  • Donate an Eagle Birthday Book to the Island Park Library on behalf of your student

School Supplies

To streamline the process, the PTA has coordinated with the school to pre-order all necessary school supplies. Please submit the school supply fee as part of your Back-to-School Parent Pack payment.

August 4 MISD RSVP process opens via Skyward. Complete all district forms, permission slips and notifications before the first day of school.
August 21 Back-to-School Parent Pack available at 4:30 PM. Teacher assignments available on Skyward.
August 25 Open House / Meet the Teacher, 11 AM–12 PM.
August 26 First day of school – all grades.
Aug 31 – Sep 2 WA Kids Conferences – no school for Kindergarten only. (Kindergarteners welcome to attend with parents/guardians)
September 7 Labor Day – no school.
September 10 K–5 Curriculum Night. (Parents/Guardians only)
