STUDENT BEHAVIOR EXPECTATIONS IN ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS
  1. All students are expected to meet the same “classroom” behavior standards.
  2. Students will take responsibility for their own learning, respond respectfully to instructors and/or parent chaperones, and behave safely in relation to themselves, others, and school property.
  3. In the case of behavioral issues, parents/guardians will be notified verbally or in writing. We hope such issues can be resolved with parent/guardian collaboration. If not, the parent/guardian may be required to attend class with their student or withdraw their student from the program without a refund.
  4. The following behaviors will result in removal from the program WITHOUT REFUND and may impact future participation in PTA-sponsored activities/events/programs:
    • Willful disobedience, failure to cooperate, or repeated refusal to follow reasonable, lawful directions or requests from instructors and/or parent chaperones.
    • Vandalism or destruction of school or personal property.
    • Hazing, harassment, fighting, or causing substantial disruption to the class.
    • Actions that endanger students, instructors, or community members.
    • Behavior indicating the student’s presence poses an immediate and continuing danger to themselves, other students, school personnel, or the educational process.
