5th Grade Events 2026–2027

At Island Park we celebrate the achievements of our 5th graders as they enjoy their final year of elementary school and prepare to enter middle school!

Sweatshirt & 5th Grade Party

5th grade sweatshirt

The 5th grade sweatshirt is a long-standing tradition and a favorite part of the final year at Island Park. Each sweatshirt features the students' names and graduation year, and becomes part of another favorite tradition: sweatshirt signing day.

The 5th grade party is also an important part of wishing our kids into the next stage of school and life. More details, including volunteer opportunities, to be announced later in the year.

Order by October 30. This is the only sweatshirt order — there won't be a second chance to order after the deadline.

  • $100 per student — includes the party + sweatshirt
  • $10 — optional yard sign
  • $35 — optional additional sweatshirt

We want every 5th grader to be part of the celebration. Financial assistance is available — see the order form for details.
