Recess Camp 

 
Recess camp has been an ongoing program at Island Park that allows students in grades 2-5 an alternative to the traditional outdoor recess.

Recess Camp allows children to practice social skills and interaction skills. We offer a variety of educational games, Magna Tiles, Marble Runs and Legos. There are art supplies, recycled “things” to invent and create with, as well as two (very popular) foosball tables.

The children are encouraged to explore, create, problem solve, collaborate with others… and of course have fun!
