- All students are expected to meet the same “classroom” behavior standards.
- Students will take responsibility for their own learning, respond respectfully to instructors and/or parent chaperones, and behave safely in relation to themselves, others, and school property.
- In the case of behavioral issues, parents/guardians will be notified verbally or in writing. We hope such issues can be resolved with parent/guardian collaboration. If not, the parent/guardian may be required to attend class with their student or withdraw their student from the program without a refund.
- The following behaviors will result in removal from the program WITHOUT REFUND and may impact future participation in PTA-sponsored activities/events/programs:
- Willful disobedience, failure to cooperate, or repeated refusal to follow reasonable, lawful directions or requests from instructors and/or parent chaperones.
- Vandalism or destruction of school or personal property.
- Hazing, harassment, fighting, or causing substantial disruption to the class.
- Actions that endanger students, instructors, or community members.
- Behavior indicating the student’s presence poses an immediate and continuing danger to themselves, other students, school personnel, or the educational process.

For the spring session, students will learn about birthdays and birthday parties. They'll review or learn numbers from 1-31 and the months of the year to express their age, ask about someone else's age as well as compare the ages of two people. Students will also be able to talk about what they like and don't like at birthday parties.
Eco Explorers
Friday | 3:45 - 5:00pm | Room 15 | Grades K-5 | Max: 15 students
Cost: $259 | Apr 25 - Jun 6 (7 sessions)
Eco Explorer is a STEM driven, hands-on, and collaborative afterschool program designed to ignite curiosity about the environment and empower students with the knowledge and skills to create a sustainable future. This program combines fun activities with real-world lessons in sustainability and climate technology. Eco Explorer is more than an extracurricular activity—it’s a launchpad for future leaders with critical thinking and innovations!
In the past Eco-Explorer winter class, students explored key concepts such as ecosystems and temperature gradients, alongside hands-on activities measuring temperature, current, and voltage in a safe environment. Building on this foundation, the spring class will continue blending concept education with interactive experiments. Students will dive into topics like water filtration and renewable energy, with hands-on demonstrations in water purification and building small wind mechanisms. This approach ensures students gain both theoretical knowledge and practical skills in STEM and climate technology.
