Is your child is interested in joining the Green Team at Island Park? Our Green Team is led by Ms. Mullen, a Kindergarten teachers and Ms. Carlson, a third grade teacher at Island Park. This team will be a group of students willing to teach others about ways to help the environment. The team will meet about once a month before school from 8:15 am to 9:00 am to learn about topics such as waste reduction, recycling, and other conservation practices. Students will make posters and do fun projects to help raise awareness of good practices in our school.

Thank you for considering the Green Team as a way for your student to take a leadership role in our school! Please have your child walk around the building to the outside Room 8 door and the teachers will be there to let them inside.
